From Small-Town Roots to Industry Leadership

Kevin Scott, the founder of CopperWood, began his journey in South Mountain, a place where community values and early leadership experiences shaped his future. Influenced by his father, a member of the local volunteer fire department and the South Mountain Fair, Kevin learned the importance of service and teamwork from a young age. 


His involvement in the fair's management, starting at just 12 years of age, marked the beginning of his leadership path. This culminated in him becoming the youngest Fair Board President in Ontario at the age of 18.

Building CopperWood

This early exposure to leadership and community service laid the foundation for CopperWood. Today, Kevin leads the company as the owner, president, and project manager, offering comprehensive new home construction services, alongside plumbing, HVAC, and excavation.


Kevin credits the success of CopperWood to his dedicated team of licensed specialists, emphasizing that their collective skills and growth mindset are the pillars of the company’s success.
